Monday 8 Mar 21 One month on the road

Woke up at 8. I used the restroom in Walmart then drove about 3 miles to the Burger King I was at before. I ordered senior coffee and sat down to drink my coffee and update my budget. Somehow the Text to Speech function had been turned on. It made the phone impossible to use. Since the phone does not have the typical 3 navigation buttons it made it even worse. I used my other phone to search online for help but none of the suggestions work. I messed around for 2 hours trying to figure it out. I finally managed to text Zack and he sent a screenshot on what to do. Luckily it worked. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have Zack to help me with tech problems.

After the issue was resolved I was able to update my budgets. I had lost so much time I didn't read the Epoch Times.

Back in the RT I fed the dogs. I had completely forgotten to do it earlier. Then I made oats with toast and half a grapefruit.

Later I drove across I-8 and bought $20 worth of fuel. I plan to fill up at Sam's Club tomorrow but was so low I thought I might run out before I got there. I thought about paying for a shower but decided I would just use my portable shower. I really need a more powerful pump to make it better. I will go to a RV store and see if I can find one there.

After my shower I drove to a laundromat and did a load of clothes. I need to find some more shorts. I bought a couple of pair during last year's winter road trip but for some reason I decided not to bring them this year.

After the clothes were all packed away I fed the dogs and gave Pete his insulin shot. I snacked on some summer sausage and chips while watching a couple episodes of King of Queens.

Later I drove back to the Walmart. After walking the dogs and brushing my teeth I went to bed.
